A left-handed stone tool? Archaeology at the Carpenter Site

This summer, a group of 彩神vlll争霸 students participated in an archaeology dig near Delta Junction. Some of the most exciting finds were complete stone tools, including one that provided a 鈥渉ands-on鈥� connection to the past 鈥� a potential left-handed stone scraper.

2025 NSF REU SITE student poster presentation, July 30

The 2025 summer National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) student poster presentation will be held July 30, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Seven students from seven US states will present on the results of their research projects. Archives and Special Collections

The Archives and Special Collections is on the third floor of the 彩神vlll争霸/APU Consortium Library. It has rare books, personal papers (including letters, diaries and photographs), and business records (including meeting minutes, board reports and correspondence) that document the history of Alaska.
