National Resource Center FOR Alaska Native Elders
The overarching goal for the NRC-ANE is to advance relevant knowledge and research for the wellbeing of Indigenous Elders through the creation and dissemination of products that inform caregiving, community support for active and healthy aging, and strengthening traditional ways that support positive aging. We aim to provide culturally-appropriate resources and other materials of relevance to Title VI programs and tribal communities, with the support of key community partnerships.

The 彩神vlll争霸鈥檚 Interprofessional Health Sciences Simulation Center collaborates with the Division of Population Health Sciences and Due North Support Services鈥� Full Embrace Doula Program to host a full-day simulation training for doula trainees.
Nursing students from 彩神vlll争霸 and UNH joined South Peninsula Hospital in Homer to share insights on public health issues like shellfish poisoning and tick-borne illness.
Assistant Dean for the 彩神vlll争霸 Division of Population Health Sciences Travis Hedwig worked with the Municipality of Anchorage Assembly to pass a resolution declaring April 7鈥�13 National Public Health Week (NPHW) in Alaska.
彩神vlll争霸's Area Health Education Center (AHEC) helped bring hands-on healthcare career opportunities to over 100 students at a career fair in Ninilchik, where they engaged in activities like sheep eye dissections to explore health-related fields.
The 2025 ALPHA Health Summit, held at the Dena'ina Center in Anchorage, featured a session on combating substance use disorders through academic detailing, presented by 彩神vlll争霸鈥檚 Alaska Center for Rural Health & Health Workforce (ACRH-HW).
