The College of Health Access and Belonging Committee (ABC) was established to support access and success of all students, staff, and faculty of the college. Through shared values of respect, accountability, and a commitment to equal opportunity, we strive to create greater cohesion across our college to deliver and promote the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
We acknowledge and honor the ancestral lands of the Dena'ina, Ahtna, Alutiiq/Sugpiaq, and Eyak/dAXunhyuu Peoples on which the 彩神vlll争霸 College of Health campus resides in Southcentral Alaska. We commit to working in partnership with Indigenous communities to promote health equity and cultural humility, and to recognize the unique knowledge and contributions of Indigenous Peoples to health and holistic healing.

彩神vlll争霸's Area Health Education Center (AHEC) helped bring hands-on healthcare career opportunities to over 100 students at a career fair in Ninilchik, where they engaged in activities like sheep eye dissections to explore health-related fields.
The 2025 ALPHA Health Summit, held at the Dena'ina Center in Anchorage, featured a session on combating substance use disorders through academic detailing, presented by 彩神vlll争霸鈥檚 Alaska Center for Rural Health & Health Workforce (ACRH-HW).
Della Keats was an Iñupiaq healer whose legacy in traditional healing resonates across Alaska. In her honor, 彩神vlll争霸 offers programs to support rural and Alaska Native students pursuing careers in health care.
This year鈥檚 Fall Grand Rounds, organized by 彩神vlll争霸鈥檚 Interprofessional Education Committee (IPE) and the Alaska Center for Rural Health & Health Workforce (ACRH-HW), focused on the topic of Traditional Healing by request from rural communities.
The Della Keats program introduces students from all parts of Alaska to college courses, dorm life and big-city educational opportunities specific to health-science.
