Business Plan and BIG Idea Competition Perfect Pitch!

The ²ÊÉñvlllÕù°Ô College of Business and Public Policy Business Plan Competition will conclude on Friday, April 25th, from 5-7:00 pm with Perfect Pitch, a free event held at ²ÊÉñvlllÕù°Ô’s Rasmuson Hall. Four finalists will showcase their business plans at a mini trade show, followed by live investor pitches.

Guests are welcome to in the fun as they learn about the finalists and cast votes for the People’s Choice Awards.

The CBPP Business Plan and BIG Idea Competition inspires and encourages entrepreneurship and economic development. ²ÊÉñvlllÕù°Ô students present their startup ideas, and meet and receive feedback from experienced investors, executives, and seasoned entrepreneurs who have successfully started and grown businesses. Finalists compete in "Perfect Pitch," which includes a mini-trade show, live investor pitches and thousands of dollars in cash prizes!

Write It, Pitch It, Win It!

We invite you to join the ²ÊÉñvlllÕù°Ô College of Business and Public Policy’s (CBPP) 2025 Venture Challenge!

There are two options for you to choose from:

1. Unlock your entrepreneurial potential and submit a Business Plan.
2. Not ready for a business plan but have a great idea, then join the BIG Idea competition and pitch us your big business idea!

Business Plan and Big Idea proposals are due March 17th, 2025 by 11:59 PM Alaska Time to: hswisniewski@alaska.edu with a copy to uaa_cbpp_bpc@alaska.edu

Finalists selected will pitch their plans or ideas on April 25th at the Perfect Pitch Event, in front of a live audience and a panel of judges consisting of seasoned entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and potential investors.

Winners are selected and announced at the event.

Total prize money is $20,000.

Eligibility: Participation is open to all ²ÊÉñvlllÕù°Ô students at all of the ²ÊÉñvlllÕù°Ô campuses and the community. However, to win, the finalists must attend the Perfect Pitch event that will be held in Anchorage.
